Uma by raspberryMCMLXXXIV Uma by raspberryMCMLXXXIV
This didn't go too well. It took me forever to finish this painting. But I learned: At some
point it becomes impossible to add another layer of paint. But I've seen this through and now
it's done.
And then... the scanning process.
I won't complain. After all it's a miracle to send material pictures into virtuality - a realm of
light and nothingness. It's pure magic! I'm grateful for all those things of the future like
automobiles, gaming consoles, refridgerators or antibiotics. I'm sure without them my life would
be very dull - or not any more at all. I'm sure it must be my personal eyesight which is flawed
(I am too getting older). After all my scanner is just a soulless machine which does what it is
suppposed to do. Light hovering over a surface. Machines can't lie. Light can't lie (and it's
superfast). It can't actually sabotage my work willingly, can it? Bullying me? Grinning secretly
at my uneasiness? Impossible!

Maybe I'll try making a photo later.... *hellsbells*

But first things first: Uma 馬 - the horse. Second part to Tora 虎 - the tiger. Together
What mysterious circumstances can be revealed in this hidden message? Do
they know each other? Do they like each other ? Have they lost their beloved pets? Were
they victims of terrible accidents involving tigers and/or horses (easy enough). Who knows! From
my point of view they're simply my two favourite characters (yes, who know each other) modelling
- for me. But that's only my own interpration.
Entirely done in acrylic paint.

Deine Augen sind also in Ordnung.
